For Working Musicians and Bands

Your Name
Up in Lights.

A link page points at you. A marquee puts your name up where people are already standing.

Music, dates, press kit and merch, all on a domain you own. Live in 3 weeks.

Live in 3 weeks

From the day your assets land

$2,000 build, $50 a month

Published, and splittable in two

You own everything

Site, domain and files, from day one

Next available build start date is Sept. 28, 2026

Four people decide whether you get booked

A link page is a hallway

It gets people from one door to another. That is all it does.

Every visit ends somewhere else.

On a platform that owns the relationship, keeps the data and rents your audience back to you. Meanwhile the people who actually book you are looking for something else entirely.

  • The promoter

    Wants a press kit

Bio, hi-res photos, stage plot, notable shows and press quotes, in one link they can forward.

  • The venue

Wants to know if you can draw

Past dates, ticket links and an archive that quietly proves you work.

  • The music supervisor

    Wants to hear the track

Without making an account, installing an app or waiting on a login screen.

  • The fan

Wants the date and the shirt

When you are playing near them, and where to buy. Two answers, one page.

None of that fits on a list of buttons.

You own the site, the domain and the files.

From day one. Month to month, no minimum term. We will not lease you your own website.

Six pages, one build

What gets built

Four to six pages, designed around your brand, not a template with your photo dropped into it.

  1. Home

The photo, the next show, the current release, and one clear thing to do. Built to load fast on a phone at a venue with bad service, because that is where it gets opened.

  2. Music

Embedded players for Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and YouTube, whatever you actually use. Releases stay in one place with credits, artwork and links, so a new record is an update, not a rebuild.

  3. Tour dates

A calendar you manage yourself, with ticket links, venue names and a past-shows archive that quietly proves you work. Add a date from your phone in the parking lot. No developer, no invoice, no waiting on us.

  4. Press kit The one that books you

Short and long bio, hi-res photos in one download, stage plot and input list, logos, notable shows, press quotes and streaming numbers. One link you send to a promoter instead of a folder of attachments they will not open.

  5. Merch

Link out to your existing store, or we build checkout into the site so the sale happens on your domain. Both options are priced below. Pick on the call.

  6. Contact

Booking, press and management routed to the right inbox, with spam handled. If you have a mailing list, it connects to it.

Found by name, not just by link.

The site is indexed properly, marked up so Google understands you are a musical act, and structured so your name, your band name and your city all resolve to a page you control. A link page cannot do that.

No packages, no mystery math

What it costs

One product, one price

Marquee

Look like the act you already are.

$2,000one-time build

  • Live in3 weeks
  • Pages4 to 6
  • Care$50 a month

Players, dates, press kit, merch and contact. One round of revisions. Live in 3 weeks from the day your assets land.

Paying for it

  1. $1,000 At kickoff
  2. $1,000 At launch

Split it if that is easier, or pay it in one go. The monthly starts the day the site goes live, not the day you sign. Month to month, cancel anytime, and the site is still yours.

Why $50 and not $250.

The business engines carry local SEO work, citation management and reporting every month. You do not need any of that. You need the site fast, indexed and out of your way. So the monthly covers the machine, not the marketing, and it is priced accordingly.

Add it if you need it

Simple merch checkout

Up to 15 simple items. In every Marquee build at no extra cost.

$1,500Included

Merch checkout is already in the build. The rest are quoted at kickoff, not discovered halfway through, and if one changes your launch date we tell you the new date before you say yes.

Care, not rent

What the monthly covers

$50a month

It keeps the site online, secure and fast. You own the site whether you keep paying it or not. Month to month, cancel anytime.

  • Hosting and CDN

Fast in Michigan, fast on tour, fast on a phone in a parking garage.

  • SSL certificate

Renewed automatically. You will never get the expiry email.

  • Daily backups

90-day retention, so a bad week is recoverable, not final.

  • Security and updates

Monitoring, plugin and core updates, and every license fee, carried by us.

  • Uptime monitoring

So we find out before you do, and before a promoter does.

  • Email support

For anything that breaks. A real person, not a ticket queue.

You handle the content. That is the point.

Dates, releases, photos and press quotes are yours to edit, because you should not have to email an agency to announce a show. Every build ships with a pattern library, so adding a page later costs you nothing.

Need us to make a change? $175 for up to an hour.

Structural work, meaning a new section, a layout change, or something the pattern library does not cover, scheduled within five business days. Most artists never buy one.

The floor, not the ceiling

In every build

These are not upsells. They are the floor, and they are the same floor the $12,000 builds get.

  • Add pages yourself, free, forever

New dates, new releases, new pages, from your pattern library. No developer, no invoice.

  • 98+ desktop, 90+ mobile

Speed budget set before design starts. We will run Google’s own test on your site, live, on the call.

  • WCAG 2.2 AA

A launch blocker, not something we fix after a complaint. Keyboard operable, 4.5:1 contrast, reflows to 320px. The same live test scores this one too.

  • Enterprise hosting and security

Firewall, DDoS protection, malware monitoring, daily backups with 90-day retention, SSL, spam-protected forms.

  • You own everything

Site, domain, files, content. If you leave, we hand over what you need to take it with you.

  • Month to month

No minimum term. No website leasing. Cancel with 30 days notice and take it with you.

  • 99.5% uptime, with credits

A published commitment measured monthly. Miss it and you get a service credit against your monthly fee automatically, not on request. Read the SLA

  • Published pricing

Everything on this page. No mystery math, no call required to see a number.

Three weeks, six steps

How the build runs

You are only really in two of them, and one of those is the first day.

  1. Kickoff Yours
  2. Structure and design Ours
  3. Build Ours
  4. Your review Yours
  5. Launch Ours
  6. Handover Ours

The one thing that moves your launch date: assets.

Bands are the hardest clients in the world to get photos from, and we say that with affection. If your material has not landed by the deadline we agree at kickoff, your launch date moves, because the next build starts on schedule. We tell you that in writing before we start, and we send a reminder before it becomes a problem.

Bring these to kickoff

Six things. Gather them before day one and your launch date holds.

  • Bio: short and long, or notes and we will write them
  • Photos: five to ten, highest resolution, with credits
  • Release links: every platform you care about
  • Upcoming dates: venue, city and ticket link
  • Logo files: if you have them; not a blocker if not
  • Proof you draw: press quotes, radio spins, support slots

Before you spend the money

When we are not the answer

Four cases where Marquee is the wrong buy. Better you read it here than find out in week six.

  • We are not a label and not a publicist

No PR campaigns, no playlist pitching, no distribution, no radio push, no “we will get you streams.” Anyone selling you that in the same breath as a website is selling you neither one well.

  • You have not released anything yet

Build the catalog first. A great site around three demos is money spent early. Come back when there is something to point at.

  • You want to look serious, but you are not playing

This works for acts with material out and shows on the calendar. If that is six months away, it is six months away.

  • You want ten rounds of design revisions

One consolidated round is the deal, and it is why this costs $2,000 and takes 3 weeks.

  • None of those? Then you are exactly who this is for.

Material out, shows on the calendar, and one round of notes you can live with. That is the whole filter.

Two jobs, two tools

If the music is also a business

Plenty of the people we build for are two things at once: a working player and a studio, a teacher, a venue, a production company, a rental outfit.

The act

Marquee

  • Makes you look legitimate
  • Gets you booked
  • Music, dates, press kit, merch
  • $2,000 build, $50 a month

You are looking at it

The business

Lead Engine

  • Generates inquiries
  • Tracks where each one came from
  • Follows up without you remembering to
  • $2,500 to $12,000 build

See the Lead Engine

Both, then.

Artists who also run a business usually take Marquee for the act and Presence for the business, on separate domains. They are different audiences and they should not share a homepage.

Straight answers

Do I actually own the site?

Yes. Site, domain, files and content, from day one, in your name. Month to month with no minimum term. If you stop the monthly, we hand over what you need to take it somewhere else. We will not lease you your own website.

Can I update my own tour dates?

Yes, and you should. Dates, releases, photos and press quotes are all yours to edit, from a phone if that is what you have on you. That is the whole point of shipping a pattern library instead of hard-coding your content into a design.

What if I already have a domain and a Bandcamp?

Keep both. We point your existing domain at the new site and embed Bandcamp where it belongs. Nothing here asks you to abandon a platform that is already working. It asks you to stop making that platform the front door.

Do you sell merch for me?

We build the store; you run it. Link out to what you already use, or put checkout on your own domain for $1,500 and $50 a month. If you are moving real volume with sizes and inventory, that is the full store build and we will price it honestly rather than pretend the cheap one will cover it.

Why is this cheaper than the business sites?

Because the monthly work is different. A local business is paying for citation management, listing maintenance and rank tracking every single month. You are paying for a fast, secure, well-built site that stays online. Same build quality, less ongoing work, lower price. No mystery math.

Can you write my bio?

Yes, from your notes and a short call. Most artists hand us three paragraphs written at two in the morning and we turn it into a short bio, a long bio and the one-line version a promoter will paste into a listing.

What if my band breaks up?

Cancel the monthly. The site is yours and so is the domain, and every one of us has been there. If it starts again under a new name, we will move it for you rather than sell you a second build.

How fast, really?

Twenty-one days from the day your assets land, not from the day you pay. That gap is entirely in your hands, and it is the single biggest reason a build takes six weeks instead of three.

Twenty minutes, straight answer

Send us your act. We will tell you what we would build, what it costs and when we could start. Or we will tell you it is too early and what to do instead.

No deck. No discovery loop. No mystery math.
